Ms Cheri, Founder
With a Bachelor of Music degree and a career as an air traffic controller, Cheri brings a unique blend of creativity and precision to Super Kids Playschool. Her background in air traffic control developed her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain safe, well-structured environments—qualities that translate seamlessly into early childhood education.
Raised by educators, Cheri grew up understanding what quality teaching looks like and the impact it has on young learners. As a mother of three athletes, she recognizes the importance of combining physical development with academic learning, which inspired her to create a preschool that offers both comprehensive pre-K curriculum and acro dance/gymnastics.
Super Kids Playschool operates within Velocity Complex, Cheri’s acro dance and aerial arts studio, creating a dynamic space where children develop both their minds and bodies. While her experienced teaching team leads daily instruction, Cheri remains actively involved and enjoys stepping into the classroom when needed.
Cheri’s certified therapy dog Carl, an Australian Labradoodle, occasionally joins the preschool to provide comfort and joy to students, adding an extra layer of warmth to the Super Kids community.
Ms Bailey, Lead Teacher/Director
Hi! I’m Ms Bailey, a passionate Early Childhood Educator with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. I am the Lead Preschool Teacher at Super Kids Playschool, where I will be creating hands-on, play-based learning experiences—especially when they involve science or a little messy fun!
I’ve taught in a variety of settings, including a gymnastics preschool, summer camps across Germany and England, and as a Presenter at the TELUS World of Science Edmonton. I’ve also coached recreational gymnastics and volunteered with girls-in-STEAM programs to help foster confidence and curiosity in young learners. I believe that every child deserves a joyful, inclusive space to explore, experiment, and grow.
Ms Bailey, Lead Teacher/Director

Ms Heather, Teacher
Heather was born in the Lower Mainland, BC and studied dance from the age of 5. She started teaching and found a passion for working with dancers. She took a break from dance as her own children grew, and got to experience the other side as a dance parent instead of as performer and teacher.
As a mother of two athletes, Heather knows what a positive experience a motion-based preschool can be for children.
Heather holds certifications in Preschool Acrobatic Arts, circus arts, and Intellidance. She is continuing her Early Childhood education and believes strongly in lifelong learning. She looks forward to learning as much from the children as they do from her.
